FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
General FAQs
Are your fidgets safe for children under 5?
No. Our fidgets and clickers contain small parts and are not intended for children under 5 years old due to the potential choking hazard.
Children should use our products with appropriate adult supervision. Please inspect products regularly and discontinue use if any pieces become loose, damaged, or broken.
What are fidgets used for?
Fidgets give your hands something to do and can be used for sensory input, focus, stress relief, or simply because they’re satisfying and fun to use.
Everyone uses fidgets differently. Some people like them while working, studying, watching TV, sitting in meetings, or anytime they need to keep their hands busy.
Who can use fidgets?
Fidgets aren’t just for kids! Our products can be enjoyed by kids, teens, and adults.
You may find fidgets being used at home, in classrooms, therapy offices, workplaces, and other everyday settings.
Are fidgets toys or tools?
They can be both! Some people use fidgets simply because they’re fun and satisfying, while others use them as sensory or self-regulation tools to help keep their hands busy.
Our products are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or mental health condition.
How long will my fidget last?
Our fidgets are made with quality materials and print settings designed for regular use. However, 3D-printed fidgets are still small mechanical items, and their lifespan will depend on how often and how heavily they are used.
Frequent or rough use may cause parts or switches to wear out more quickly.
Do you design all of your products?
Our shop includes designs that are created by us as well as designs that we have obtained commercial licenses to sell from independent 3D designers.
When we use another designer’s work, we make sure we have the appropriate commercial license to sell physical prints of that design.
Why does my item have lines or small imperfections?
That’s part of the 3D-printing process!
Each item is printed layer by layer, so small variations, visible layer lines, seams, or minor surface imperfections are normal. Because each piece is individually printed, no two items will be completely identical.
Colors may also appear slightly different depending on your screen settings and variations between filament batches.
What material do you use?
Most of our products are printed using PLA (polylactic acid) filament, one of the most commonly used materials in 3D printing.
PLA is typically made using renewable plant-based resources such as corn starch or sugarcane.
Are your products environmentally friendly?
PLA is made primarily from renewable plant-based materials rather than traditional petroleum-based plastics. However, while PLA can be composted under specific industrial conditions, it generally will not biodegrade quickly in a typical landfill or home compost bin.
At Zuzu 3D Studio, we try to minimize unnecessary filament waste by planning prints carefully and reusing materials when practical.
Do you offer custom orders?
We are not currently accepting custom orders. This may change in the future, so keep an eye on our website and social media for updates.
Do you offer wholesale orders?
We may be able to accommodate select wholesale or bulk orders depending on the product, quantity, and current production schedule.
Please reach out through our Contact Us page with information about what you’re looking for.
Do you offer discounts for therapists, teachers, or schools?
We want our fidgets to be accessible to the people who use them, including therapists, teachers, schools, and other helping professionals.
For information about current bulk-order or professional discounts, please contact us through our Contact Us page.
Do you sell STL or digital files?
No. We currently sell physical products only and do not sell STL or other digital design files.
Some of the designs available in our shop are licensed from independent 3D designers, and our licenses allow us to sell the finished physical products rather than redistribute the original digital files.
Product FAQs
My fidget arrived with a piece separated. Is it broken?
Not necessarily. Some fidget components are designed to snap together and may occasionally separate during shipping.
If the pieces reconnect securely and the item functions normally, the product is still usable.
If a stem, housing, or other component has actually broken or will not stay in place, please contact us through our Contact Us page so we can help.
Why are some fidgets glued?
Certain designs may be secured with adhesive to help prevent pieces from separating during normal use or shipping.
Whether adhesive is used depends on the design and construction of the individual product.
Can I order my fidget unglued?
At this time, we do not offer unassembled or DIY versions of our products unless specifically stated in the product listing.
My clicker won't stay together. Can I get a replacement?
If a component has broken or failed due to a material or manufacturing issue within 30 days of purchase, please contact us through our Contact Us page.
Include your order number and clear photos showing the issue so we can determine the best way to help.
My keychain hardware broke and I lost my clicker. Can I get a replacement?
Please contact us through our Contact Us page with your order information and details about what happened.
Replacement eligibility will depend on the circumstances and whether the issue resulted from a product or hardware failure rather than accidental damage or misuse.
Orders & Processing FAQs
How long does it take to process my order?
Most orders are processed within 5–10 business days, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
Because our products are 3D printed in small batches, some items may be made or finished after your order is placed.
Processing times may occasionally be longer during product launches, holidays, sales, or other especially busy periods. Any significant delays will be communicated whenever possible.
I received tracking information, but my package hasn't moved. What does that mean?
Tracking information is created when we purchase and print the shipping label for your order.
There may be a short period between receiving your tracking number and seeing the first carrier scan while your package is being prepared for pickup or drop-off.
Carrier tracking systems can also occasionally take a little time to update.
Can I cancel my order?
Because we begin preparing orders shortly after they are placed, all sales are final and orders cannot be canceled once they have entered production or fulfillment.
If you realize you made a mistake immediately after ordering, please contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that changes or cancellations can be made.
Can I change my order after placing it?
Changes are not guaranteed, but please contact us within 24 hours if you need to correct your shipping address or request another change.
If your order has not entered production or fulfillment, we will do our best to help.
Once an order has shipped, we cannot change the delivery address.

You will need to provide the correct shipping address and pay the additional shipping cost before the package can be resent.

Refund & Replacement FAQs
What is your refund policy?
Because our products are 3D printed in small batches, all sales are final except for qualifying damaged or defective items.
You may be eligible for a replacement if your item:
-
Arrives damaged
-
Has a material or manufacturing failure within 30 days of purchase
If the original item is unavailable, we may offer a replacement with another item, store credit, or a refund depending on the circumstances.
Damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, improper handling, or normal wear from frequent use is not eligible for replacement or credit.
Normal characteristics of 3D printing, such as visible layer lines, seams, minor surface variations, and slight color differences, are not considered defects.
My order arrived damaged. What should I do?
Please contact us through our Contact Us page within 7 days of delivery.
Include:
-
Your order number
-
Clear photos of the damaged item
-
Photos of the packaging
-
A brief description of the problem
We’ll review the information and get back to you with the next steps.
Do I have to return a damaged item?
Usually, no. Returns are not required unless we specifically request one.
If we need the item returned as part of a claim, we’ll provide additional instructions.
How long does a replacement take?
Approved replacements are generally processed within 5–10 business days, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
Because replacement items may need to be printed again, processing time may vary depending on the product.
